Looking for an upgrade from the EeePC 901? Well there's no NetBook love for you in Intel-land.
The Samsung Chromebook ($350) looks the goods. Manufacturer-supported "developer mode" allows you to install other operating systems. Ubuntu seems to be the best fit, mainly because of the work of Marcin Juszkiewicz. It's not a perfect fit yet, but there also doesn't seem to be any showstoppers preventing complete support given time.
Same advantages and disadvantages as the original EeePC, but with a decent keyboard.
The Samsung Chromebook seems to be selling well. You've got to wonder about Intel's strategy of conceding the bottom of the market to ARM.
